The short version

This is a free calculator. We have no accounts, no logins, and no server that stores your data. Every calculation runs entirely inside your own browser. The numbers you type never leave your device.

We do use Google Analytics and Google AdSense, and those set cookies. Details below.

What you type into the calculator

Your inputs — selling price, product cost, category, weight and the advanced settings — are processed locally in your browser and are never transmitted to us or to anyone else.

To save you re-typing them, your inputs are stored in your browser's localStorage. This stays on your device. Clearing your browser data, or pressing Reset on the calculator, removes it. We cannot read it.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people use the calculator and which parts they use. It sets cookies and collects standard analytics data such as your approximate location (city level), device type, browser, pages viewed and time on page.

We also record anonymous events — for example that a calculation happened, which marketplace came out best, and whether a report was exported. These events never include personally identifying information.

Google AdSense and cookies

This site displays ads served by Google AdSense.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

Third-party libraries

Charts and file exports load from a public CDN (jsDelivr) only when you scroll to the charts or click an export button. Loading a file from a CDN reveals your IP address to that CDN, as with any web request. No data about your calculation is sent.

Children

This is a tool for business sellers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you on any server, there is nothing for us to export or delete. To remove what is stored locally, clear your browser data for this site or press Reset in the calculator. For cookies set by Google, use the opt-out links above.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it.

Your rights under the DPDP Act

India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 gives you rights over your personal data. Because this site keeps no server-side record of you, there is nothing for us to retrieve, correct or erase — your calculator inputs live only in your own browser's localStorage, and clearing your browser data or pressing Reset removes them.

For data that Google collects through Analytics and AdSense cookies, use the opt-out links above, or contact us and we'll help you exercise your rights with Google.

Cookie notice and consent

Visitors in India see a notice explaining that we use analytics and advertising cookies, with a link to this policy. Visitors in the EEA and UK are shown Google's certified consent message instead, which lets them accept or reject personalised advertising before ads are personalised.
