Marketplace fee guides

Everything here is sourced and dated. Where we're relying on an estimate rather than an official figure, we say so — because most marketplace fee content on the internet is stale, and stale fee data costs sellers real money.

Start here if you read nothing else In March 2026, Amazon, Flipkart and Meesho all moved to 0% commission on products under ₹1,000. If you learned marketplace economics before this year, your rules of thumb are wrong.

How we source these

Every figure comes from the marketplace's own published pages where one exists. Each carries the date we last checked it, and a link so you can check it yourself.

Where no official source exists — Flipkart's per-seller commission, Meesho's shipping slabs — we label the figure an estimate and tell you where to find your real number. We don't copy figures from other blogs and present them as fact. We checked several while building this, and found them contradicting each other by as much as 25 percentage points on the same question.

Rates drift constantly. Two Amazon categories changed on 10 June 2026 while this site was being built. Confirm against your seller panel before pricing anything, no matter who told you the number.
